Today we had a presentation from the librarians at the Hamilton Public Library. The librarians encouraged the Kindergarten students to keep reading through the summer by registering for a summer reading program available at the public libraries and it is free!
We are excited to end our second year of Winona Wish with a Picnic BBQ Celebration. The purpose of Winona Wish is to build positive culture and climate in our school, by providing students and educators the opportunity to build stronger relationships across all grades. This year the students have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of mixed grade activities, such as Creative Pumpkin Day, Winter Festival, Fall Cooperative Games Day, Dance Day and more. This month Winona Wish will be an a Picnic BBQ, which will include; an outdoor assembly, outdoor cooperative games and then a picnic lunch, with a complementary hotdog and drink.
The students will be bringing their lunches outside to enjoy with their hotdog, in their Winona Wish Groups.
